Building on insights from our in-depth interviews (IDIs) about attitudes toward AI-based therapy apps, we designed a targeted survey to determine if these sentiments were generalizable. After analyzing the survey data, we were excited to find that the results aligned closely with our IDI findings, while also uncovering additional insights into key features potential users would seek in an AI therapy app.
